Collection of press accreditation for the G8 Summit
Over 3,500 applications for press accreditation for the G8 Summit to be held in L’Aquila from 8 to 10 July have been registered.
Commencing Wednesday 1 July, those who have received an e-mail confirming their accreditation will be able to collect their press badges from the accreditation centres in Rome and L’Aquila and, from 7 July, at Chieti’s Villaggio Mediterraneo as well.
Badges are issued on a strictly individual basis.
To complete the accreditation procedure:
- application must be made in person to the Accreditation Centre;
- it is necessary to bring the identity document used for on-line registration.
A photograph must be submitted when the badge is issued in order to complete the accreditation procedure.
Badges may be collected at the following accreditation centres:
Roma: Lungotevere Flaminio 69

L'Aquila: the L’Aquilone Shopping Mall (at L'Aquila Ovest motorway exit take S.S.17 following signs for Rieti)

Chieti Scalo: inside the Villaggio Mediterraneo - Via Gorizia, no number.
Open from 7 July 2009.
Accreditation Centres in Roma and L'Aquila will be open during the weekend.
